We had this Jaguar XF 3.0 V6 diesel in for an engine warning light and loss of power. We found the intercooler had split which required the front of the car stripping to replace it. The customer asked for the timing belt and water pump to be replaced whilst we were in there. A service was carried out, as you can see in the pictures the air filter needed replacing. ... This was the usual wet timing belt issue on a Peugeot 208, the engine was noisy and had fault codes stored in the engine management system. As you can see in the second picture the belt debris is blocking the oil pump pick up pipe. Unfortunately for the customer it is necessary to remove the engine to replace the oil pump. Once rebuilt it was road tested and MOT’d. ... See MoreSee Less

This Peugeot Partner flashed up with the AdBlue system fault. After carrying out several tests we found the urea injector at fault.
We replaced the relevant part and coded it to the vehicles system. ... See MoreSee Less
We had a late 2012 Vauxhall Insignia in for a gearbox oil service. The customer was complaining of a very slow but clunky gear change, especially when the engine was cold.
As you can see the new oil being exchanged is red in the left hand tube., and the old oil is black full of band dust.
We injected 400 ml of gearbox flush which was run through the gearbox for 10 minutes before the oil exchange took place.
It is one of the only items of the drivetrain which is never thought of by drivers. We cannot stress enough the massive expense suffered by vehicle owners if the automatic gearbox fails. Prevention is cheaper than the repair or replacement of an automatic gearbox. ... See MoreSee Less

This customer has travelled miles to come for this service because no garage between here and his home would do it! ... See MoreSee Less

Just recently we are seeing more and more vehicles coming in with tyres severally worn to the cords. This is extremely dangerous for you and other road users if your tyre blows out whilst travelling at speed.
Please make sure you get your tyres checked, it’s free of charge ... See MoreSee Less
